    about a half mile from Athenry it is called the "White Stone." It is supposed that there is a king buried under it.
    There are two in Carnakelly one at John Monaghan's gate and the other one is in Michael Finegan's shed.
    About two miles from my house there is a cement cross in memory of a boy who was killed some time ago. It was erected on the side of the road to mark the place where the accident occured.
