    Oldcastle boitrín" Gloves boithrin and the New Line.
    There are two paths one leading from Bresk Boitrín to Esker Monastery and the other one leads from Backpark to Esker Monastery also.
    There is an old "Lios" in the district and it is said that the "Greasaidhe Leiprachan" was heard working there.
    At cross-roads on Sundays when the weather is fine the young men play "Pitch and Toss," and they also discuss the weather.
    The boys and girls have dances at the cross roads, the music being supplied by a local musician. The dances are not as common as they were in olden times.
