prayed that God might send water to quench their thirst. In answer to his prayer a spring of water bubbled forth on the side of the road from which the people drank. Not long afterwards the English Soldiers came on the course back and seeing the spring stopped to drink which gave the people a chance of getting away before they come upon them.
