  1. A cure for a corn is to get a small piece of bread and let a drop of vinegar fall on it, and leave it on the corn for a few nights and it will draw out the corn.
    The best cure for a thorn is to (get) put a foxes tongue on it, and tighten it well, and it will draw the thorn out, and it will stick in the foxes tongue.
    A cure for a bleeding nose is to put a key or any cold article down your back.
    A cure for a boil is to put soap and fine sugar on it, and make a plaster of it and have it on the boil.
    A cure for scalding feet is to bathe them in luke warm water, and put a good lather of common soap on the feet and let it dry into them, and you will have no more trouble.
    A cure for a wart is a big rock with a small hole in the centre and there has to be water in the hole, and leave a safety pin in the hole and rub it on the wart(s),
