  1. June is supposed to be the most lucky month for marriages. Most people get married in shrove and June. May is supposed to be un-lucky, and seldom people get married in May.
    The lucky wedding days are.
    Monday for health,
    Tuesday for wealth,
    Wednesday the best day of all,
    Thursday for losses,
    Friday for crosses.
    Monday and Friday are supposed to be un-lucky, the latter because of what happened on the first Good Friday. The majority of women favour Wednesday and Saturday, and the former is one of the most popular of wedding days.
