The birds commonly found in our district are the Curlew, Goldfinch, Owl, Green Linnet, Robin, Wren, Crane, Crow, jackdaw, Rook, Thrush, Sparrow, snipe, Widgeon, Tom Tit, Bullfinch, Grouse, Pheasant, Magpie, Lapwing, Yellow hammer, Starling, Gull, Golden Plover, Hawk, Wilduck, Patridge, Swan, Wagtail, Waterhen.
    They all build their nests in different places. For example the jackdaw builds on chimney tops of sticks, pieces of turf, wool, and hair.
