    wanted to get him out of the way and advised him to refuse to go on further dangerous journeys for the King.
    When Conchubhar arrived in England with his load of golden slates the King was amazed and at the same time knew his game was up. Conchubhar discovered on his arrival that during his absence the queen had died, so he forced the king to marry his mother, who then became queen. Conchubhar refused to go on any more dangerous expeditions, and they all lived happily together ever afterwards.
