    If a person brought the butter out of a neighbour's house by bringing milk out during a churning, it is said that if the person, from whom the butter is brought, went out on May morning and pulled the grass from between the hoofs of his neighbours cows that the person would have no butter for the year.
    It is thought dangerous to go near water on Whit Sunday.
