    assistance of King Solomon's Magic ring but no one knew who had it or where it was hidden.
    So he went towards the east to find information. He met an old magician. The magician told him that he would make medicine out of herbs and after taking three teaspoonfuls of it that he would understand what the birds of the air would be saying and from them he would get information about the ring.
    After a long journey he laid down by a tree in the forest to rest and to sleep. Two lovely birds, perched on the tree over him. One bird said to the other "When shall the witchmaiden come to the well to wash her face". In the middle of the night when the moon is full "I should like to see her" said one of them "we shall go" said the other.
    When the time came they flew on and he tried by all means to keep in sight of them and he followed them on. They came to a tree and rested
