  1. Folklore 24-11-'38
On Christmas night the people burn coloured candles and the youngest person in the family lights them. People say that if you eat enough on the last night of the old year that they will have enough all through the year. On Christmas night the young children hand their stockings beside the fire for Santy Clause to put gifts in them while they slept.
