  1. My Native Village is Parkroe is five houses in it now there was eight in it long ago. There was one in Jim Kellys garden where Mrs. Burke lived it is knocked down and cabbage sowed in it. There was another near it where Pat Griffin lived it is also tilled. There was another in my own garden where the Lynskeys lived it is also tilled.
    Folklore.
    There is a lot of people over seventy. There names are Mrs. Kelly, Peter Monaghan, Tom Slattery, Mary Slattery, Bridget Keaveny. They can tell stories both in English and in Irish.
