Dear mother make me love to pray to thee in thy sweet month of May. And kneel before thee every day.

Thine altar shall be ever green
May sweetest flowers shall there be seen.
And ? bright shall hail thee Queen,
On the month of May
My mother she may cease to love
Her earthly friends on faithful proof
But not my mother from above
