  1. Long ago there lived in this district an old man and woman who owned a shop. They went around the neighborhood every Friday with baskets of loaves and herrings. In exchange for these they would take eggs. On market days women packed baskets of eggs put them into shawls and carried them on their backs to the market. Hawkers come also collecting rags and horse hair.
