  1. In some parts of Ireland long ago the people were very superstitious. They would if a person was going to a fair and he met a red-haired woman that any business he had on that would not be lucky on account of meeting the red-haired woman. Most of the people do not believe in this now. But it is wrong to believe in it. The old people were very fond of it.
