    she never used to wet it. But one day a voice told her not to put out the ashes anymore without wetting it. She did not obey the voice but kept on putting it out. Some time after this the voice spoke to her again and told her never to put her ashes out anymore without wetting it. The reason was this. The fairy came to tell her that the dust was flying about and dirtying their silk dresses. She then obeyed the voice.
