    There was once three men and they were not able to talk English. One day they went to a fair and they saw one crowd of people making a bargain and they heard them saying "We did". Then the three men saw another crowd of people making a bargain and they heard them saying "for five shillings". The three men then went to another part of the fair and they saw more people making a bargain and they heard these people saying "we deserve it". Then when the three men were coming home they saw a man dead on the road and they stood looking at him. At last a civic guard came up to them and asked them who killed this man and they said "we did." The guard then asked them for what did they kill the man and they answered, "for five shillings". Should you be hanged the civic guard asked them, "we deserve it" they answered and then the three men were hanged.
