    The finding remains where graves were dug out at that times seems to confirm the local tradition which says that the monks lived in this secluded spot long after the suppression of the monasteries, until eventually they were betrayed and on being discovered were put to death. No authentic account however is available.
    There is only one person over 70 years alive here. Her name is Mrs. Ward aged 80 years. She speaks Irish as well as English and can tell stories in either language.
