  1. Éire, agus a chuid Deóraidhe
From: (Seaghán Ó Duibhir an Ghleanna")

    (I)
    Éistidh liom-sa sealad,
    A bhuachaillí na gcarad,
Bhfuil fuadar fúibh i le tamall,
    le fonn dul i gcéin,
Gan suim i dtír ná i dtalamh,
Ná i nidh ar bith ag baile,

    Ag geiteadh 'gus ag preabadh,
Faoi bhrón, faoi chumha, 'gus deacracht,
    Gan aoibhneas sult ná séan.

    (II)
    A Éire, a bhrumneal gheanamhail
Nach bocht do chás 's nach aisteach,
    Nach deacair dhuit bheith meangach,
Ná lúd a bheit in do ghéag.
Ní h-iongantas 's tú le fada,
Ag cailleadh an nirt 's an spreacamh,
