out before him and asked him where was he going. The little boy said he was going for the priest for his father was dying. "I will go with you" said the ghost, so away they went. When they came to where the priest lived the boy told the priest his father was sick. "I will go up to see him now" said the priest and he asked him what was the ghost's name. The little boy said he did not know. "You do not know me" said the ghost. "No" said the little boy. "Well, I was your brother one time and your father killed me with a shovel and I was often seen, but I will never be seen again" and then he disappeared.

If the sky is red in the morning it is a sing that the day will come wet. When there are many black clouds in the sky it shows that we will have rain before long. In the night if there is a halo around the moon the next day is sure to be wet. A rainbow in the morning is the sailor's warning.A rainbow in the night is the shepherd's delight.
In summer when the swallows fly very low it is a sign that there will be rain before long and if the fly high it is a sign that the weather will be fine. Animals are always very drowsy when it is going to rain.
When the mountains and hills look far away there is fine weather before us, but when they seem to be near it shows that we will get bad weather.
