  1. There is supposed to be a tunnel going from Longford Castle to coming out on top of a hill in Patrick's Well field. Years ago the landlord got stones down to build a tower over the mouth of the tunnel but for some reason the tower was not built but the stones are still there.
    In the townland of Capira there is a tunnel. Patk. Madden Parkmore Ballycrissane says that when he was a child he and other children went into the tunnel. It is narrow for a good distance but get fairly large. The candle they had quenched
