    Basket making - even yet man men make baskets. One old man travels round the country in a caravan drawn by a horse. He often stays here for a week or so. His name is Pat High
    We use High's baskets in the school for turf.
    Tanning - there were two Tan yards one in Derrahiney and one in Tirnascragh.
    Rope making - hay or straw rope are made by every farmer even yet
    Cooper. Tom Murphy Killimor made churns till lately
    Ploughs The Nevins were famous plough makers. The last of them Michael is still famous for repairing
