    Made about 40 years ago.
    Flax grown locally, various processes done by local men and women. Flax wheels still in parish, Mr. Cullen Gortmore, Mr. Cormick Drumcar, and Mrs. Connors Gortanumera, among several others have the flax wheels now in this locality.
    Many tablecloths, towels and sheeting (fine + coars) still in the parish.

    Dyeing - Wool dyed before being spun, alder branches procured, placed in bottom of colouring pot, than a layer of raw wool, then layer of branches, then layer of wool
