  1. The Local Forge
    The forge which is in this locality belongs to a man called Tommy Bennett. But this is not a very old forge. But there was an old forge in Ochill, it was where John Bohan reeps his hay now. It belonged to the Lallys. That race is now extinct, and there is no sign of their forge now.
    They were known to 'stick the anvil' when they wanted to curse anybody. They cursed Tom Seymour, when he carried out evictions in Dooras. The ceremony was carried out in the following way.
    First here was a certain umber of Marys, Maggies and Biddies.
