    T. Connolly, L'town
    Candlemaking for private use. A wick consisting of piece of twin was immersed in melted tallow, allowed to cool and immersed again and so on till sufficiently thick.
    Bricks. All the bricks used in the building of Belview House and garden walls were made in Belview from the clay obtained in the fields known as the Orchard and Long Park. The clay was of whitish colour and turned red when baked.
    Tiles and Pipes. All the pipes and tiles used in the drainage of the Pollock property were manufactured at what was known as the Tile Yard, Kylemore.
