    Great mowers.
Mike Quinn and his two brothers Martin and John were the best known mowers in this district. For a number of years they cut 50 acres of hay for a man named Guinness while engaged at this work they cut on an average 20 acres each per day. A day meant from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m. and walk 4 miles to work.
