  1. A wart; get a black snail and rub him around the wart and then hang him him on a bush and when he starts to fade away the wart will also fade.
    Whooping cough, Get milk and give it to a ferret to drink and when he has it near drank take it from and give the leavings to a child that has the whooping cough and it will cure him
    Measles; Boil a penny and give the juice of it to the child and it will cure him.
    Hic-cough; Get a cup of water and drink it without drawing your breath.
    Mumps; Get a flagger and tie it around your neck.
    Sore throat; Get a silk stocking and tie it around your neck when you are going to bed
    Chilblains; Wash your feet at wherever you have them in cold water.
    Hoarseness; Put butter and sugar in boiled
