    Born on a Monday, fair in the face.
    Born on a Tuesday, Full of grace.

    " " ' Sunday, shall never know what.
    Marriages:-
    Monday for health.
    Tuesday for wealth.
    Wednesday best day of all.
    Thursday for losses.
    Friday for crosses.
    Saturday no day at all.
    On whit Sunday no one ever goes near a river or out in a boat, if they did it is said they would be drowned.
    When people are building a house they always dig the foundation on a Friday. They also go to live in a new house on a Friday. They say it is the luckiest day.
    Wednesday is the luckiest day for marriages.
    On New Year's Day no one every sweeps out the floor or throws out dirty water.
    If an old cow dies in March they borrow twelve
