  1. 1. There are many birds around this locality. There is a great heronry in Danesfort, and in Brookfield. When a crane builds her nest, and hatches the eggs, when the young ones come out, after a few days she throws them out of the nest.
    2. The crows are very plentiful around this locality. There is a rookery above in Danesfort. Crows do no harm to the people when they build their nests near the house. The eat up all the slugs and many other insects.
    3. The curlews are always seen beside a river. They build their nest near a river.
