  1. 1. Many years ago there did a man live in Ballinagar. He was a saintly man, and he lived by himself.
    2. He built his own hut and lived on fish. There was a well and a stream outside his hut. Ned Mullin was his name.
    3. The fish used to come up the stream at his call. He made his own grave out of a rock. He wrote his own name on a slab.
    4. The morning that he died there was a wonder-ful flock of birds seen around his hut. He used to be praying every day and night. He was a very Holy man.
