  1. 1. Long ago there were six people out in a boat on Loughatorick lake. The went out so far that they lost this young fellow named Lynch.
    2. They tried to pull him up and what they pulled up was a fairy. It is said that the fairies left somebody else instead of young Lynch.
    3. They put it into the boat and brought it to the parents that night, they held a wake and everybody came that night. A whole lot of people came riding on horseback. They were the fairies that came for the man.
