  1. A woman who got cured at Lady Well near Abbey.
Long ago there was a woman and she had bad sight. She used to ask her people at home to bring her to a doctor. They brought her and he said he would cure her.
She kept going to him for a long time and there was no sign of him to cure her. One night a man came to her house and told her she couldn't get cured and not to be wasting her money going to the doctor.
At last they thought of bringing her to Lady Well. They brought her and she rubbed the water to her eyes and she was cured immediately. Ever since then she comes to the Blessed Well every year.
