  1. 1. There is a road going all round the monastery. it also passes through the village of Abbey. it leads to the Gort. Is passes by the school.
    2. There is another road going from our village all through the village of Coollin. it goes on to the Village of Bakkygown also.
    3. The road from Abbey to Portumna is now being steamrolled. There is a road going through the village of Easterfield, the County Council is now taking charge of it now.
    4. There is a road going down by lady well, it is leading to Rusanna. it is only a bohereen. it is said that there is a road going under the ground from lady well to the graveyard.
