  1. The most harmful weeds growing on our farm are chicken weed, whiteroot, crowfoot, dockroots, thistles, dandelion, clóbán, praiseac buisc, nettles, scutch grass, lambs-quarter, robin-run-the-hedge, spunkleaf, foxglove, cockle, "pake".
    The young leaves of nettles are boiled and given to young turkeys. The nettles are dressed with Indian meals.
