  1. Not far from Gort there is a lake. The name of it is Fiddane lake. Some time ago a man lived near the lake, and he was always gathering blackthorn sticks.
    One day he was walking along by the side of the lake and he pulled up a bush. Under it was a leprechaun, and he ran into the lake. The man dived after him and when he was about to catch the leprechaun the lake turned black. The water flowing in is pure and the water flowing is pure.
