  1. There are a lot of Local customs throughout the district nowadays.
    On St Stephens day the boys go about from house to house to bury the wren and they gather money
    Some of them dance in the houses while more of them sing.
    In the night time the boys divide the money and then they all gather together and have a feast on Hallow Evn night.
    They have apples and oranges and barm-bracks and the people of the house put a ring in the barm-brack and whoever gets the ring will be married first.
    Easter Sunday is a great feast day it is held in honour of the Resurection of Our Lord and children
