  1. There are not many herbs in the district nowadays as there were a number of herbs for cures long ago.
    The herbs that are in the district now are not much harm to the land. They are good for diseases. People use dandelions and make wine out of blackberries.
    Most of the people throughout the district give nettles to the turkeys as they are very good and some people make soup out of them.
    Some people make wine out of sloes and also from bill-berries.
    They make jam from black-berries and from bill-berries also.
    Some people take out stains from rhubarb and they wash clothes
