  1. Herbs do not always effect the land but they always effect the stock. There are a lot of herbs used for curing diseases. They are either rubbed to the effected part or there is juice extracted from them and it is mixed in bottles.
    There is an herb called “macain na gcompanaigh” which usually grows around the houses and it is very dangerous for cows to eat because it puts a taste on the milk and the milk cannot be used.
    Nettles are boiled for pigs and fowl. It is supposed to be the best food for them. Dock leaves are used for curing a sting of a nettle. The juice extracted from a
