  1. Not very far from Kilmacduag there lived a couple and they had no children. This night they went out to their neighbour to visit.
It was about one o'clock when they were coming home. They were very nearly at home but they had to go across one field which was very big and there were a lot of big trees all round by the wall. When they came into this field they saw a lot of people hurling but they did not know who they were. As soon as the hurlers saw them they took up their hurls and pursued them.
