    They had a baby a few months old when its mother was taken in the fairies. The poor man got very distressed over the loss of his wife and having to take care of so young a baby.
    What was worse the baby would not take anything, only continually crying, but it used to sleep at night.
    One night he heard a noise and wakened to see his wife going out the window after feeding the baby. The next night he kept awake and as the clock struck twelve she came in. He watched her carefully
