  1. There are three churchyards in the parish.
One in Killyan, one in Rushestown and one in Cloonkeen. They are oblong in shape. There is not a ruined church in the churchyard. They are not level. The Killyan churchyard slopes to the south and Rushestown slopes west. There are trees and furze growing in the churchyards. There are crosses in Killyan churchyard. The crosses are not made of wood or iron they are made of stone.
People are buried within the churchyards.
Unbaptised children are buried in Rushestown and Cloonkeen churchyards. They are not called any special name. They are still used. There are no traditions or stories connected with them. Certain peple use church yards in other parishes.
