  1. Ferguson and Netterville were the local landlords. The family were settled in the district about one hundred years.
    They were looked upon as bad. Evictions have taken place in the district. Evicted people emigrated.
    It is not known how the landlords first came in possession of the land. The land was divided into farms under their guidance.
    Farms were subdivided among member of families on marriage.
    The landlords put heavy rents on his tenants. They were not punished for trivial acts.
    Tithes were collected in the district by a baliff. They were collected in money.
    People did not resent their collection.
    Battles were not fought on account of them.
