If a child has the whooping cough ask some man that you meet with a white horse for a cure and whatever he says do it. If a child has measels give it plenty of punch. For Rheumatism get a quarter lb of raisins and take out the inside of them and steep in lemon juice over night and take a drink of it in the morning before breakfast. Get salt or pepper and put it on a toothache and it will go.
