There was a man at a fair in Ballinasloe from ballymacward.

There was a man at a fair in Ballinasloe from Ballymacward. It was late at night when he was coming home and he met a wezzle on the road and she would not let the horse pass. After a while he got down of his horse and hit her with a stick. When he got up on the horse again the wezzle followed him to his own yard and disappeared. In the morning when he got up and went out to his stable to see his horse and foal he met the wezzle coming out and when he opened the door he found his foal dead.
