    There are many days in this district which the people think are lucky or unlucky. They say that Friday is a lucky day and that Saturday is unlucky.
    When the people are beginning any job, they always begin it on a Friday. They never begin any job on a Saturday, as they say that a job that is started on Saturday will never be finished.
    When they are changing from one house to another, they always change on Friday.
    They always try to have the potatoes sowed before St. Patrick's day. The farmer always begins ploughing on Friday, and the woman of the house churns on Friday also.
    The first three days of April are known as "the Days of the Old Cow". They are always windy and cold like the windy days of March.
    The first days of April and the last days of October are known as "the harvest of the geese". The wild-geese are to
