Instead of calling the village "Liskeavy" the old people of Kilgevrin call it Baile an Teampaill.
Long ago there was a big house in this village. People say it was a very beautiful house. The was a lot of flowers growing round it There were some palm bushes growing round it. Some of the palm. bushes growing there still. There was an avenue leading into it. The avenue is there still. It is bordered on each side by black thorn and white thorn.
