    fields. The people cut down the trees and ploughed the land. There is also a well in it. It is on the mearing of the properties Cloonmoyle Cloonacurra and Kilclooney. People get cured from certain diseases in it. Cloonacutra means curly meadow because it lies near the bog and the curlews are always about on the trees and meadows. There is a well in it also where three parishes are joining. Tuum, Milltown and Kilconly. The people also come to it for cures.
