  2. I heard this story from Pat Mannion, Kilcreevanty, about four miles north of Tuam. Friday is considered a lucky day up to the present to change into new houses. Good Friday is also considered a lucky day to sow all kind of seeds. There is general belief that it is very unlucky to add to the length of your house towards to west
