  1. In the olden times there was a price of £5 paid to anyone who would bring in the head of a priest.
    There is a place up in Aill called Cloch an Aifrinn when a priest used to say Mass every Sunday. A large crowd came every Sunday to hear Mass. While it was going on someone would be out watching.
    This place is beside a sandpit and one day while the priest was saying Mass he was attacked by a crowd of English soldiers and was killed on the spot. The Chalic was thrown into the flood up in Gallagh and
