  1. There is a hollow near Curragh and it is called Closh na bpaiste. Long ago the people used to bury children there who would not be baptized. Two thorn bushes stands in that Closh. It retains that name to the present day.

  2. There is a cave in Bealac Dorcs. Long ago the priests used to say Mass in the sandpits there and then they used to hide themselves in the cave from soldiers.
