  1. Long ago they used to make soap out of ashes and grease. They used to gather the ashes and they used to mix the grease and the ashes to gether and leave it there for a little while. They used to make as much as would do them for a month. They were very poor that time. There was no other soap. It used to be as good as any soap. They had no the sort of soap we have now.
